Strategic Planning & Project Prioritization
How do you facilitate a robust, engaging strategic planning session with community leaders in the midst of a pandemic when everyone must remain socially distanced? Online, of course.
Strategic Solutions led an interactive and highly productive Zoom “retreat” with Mt. Lebanon’s municipal management and Board of Commissioners to identify and build consensus around top projects for 2021. Building off of our 2019 planning session with the Municipality (the 2020 session was cancelled due to Covid), our team facilitated the session, leading the group in a detailed review of more than 30 potential projects, and developed a strategic plan that identified annual priorities and action items to get things moving. The result? Efficient and effective use of municipal resources to accomplish projects that have the greatest community impacts.
Strategic Solutions is currently in the process of finalizing the Municipality’s 2023 strategic planning efforts.
Process
Prioritize projects that focus on the efficient use of Mt. Lebanon’s resources on three to five high priority projects.

Comprehensive plan review, online survey, work session with Commissioners, and a public meeting detailing how the projects were selected.
Our Impact
Report detailing the selected priority projects for the Municipality, including an implementation plan for effectively completing the initiatives.
